How we manage your suggestions:
  • After a suggestion is posted we give it 90 days to achieve a minimum of 25 votes. A good suggestion is a well supported one! If this threshold is achieved the idea is moderated by our team (Deleted, merged with an existing idea, established as a new idea under review)
  • Any idea where there has been no user activity for more than 90 days and has less than 25 votes and / or has not been moderated gets deleted (although we occasionally make exceptions).

  1. Searching on Parents name or email

    There is no option to search on the data field of parents name in advanced search. We get so many emails from parents not naming their child or the class and being able to search on their name or email the question came from would be far quicker than us emailing back asking who their child is.

  2. You need to have a between choice for attendance in student find

    Within Student Find In relation to absence I can select

    Less than or equal to
    Less Than
    Equal to
    Greater than
    Greater than or equal to

    What I really need is "between" as a matter of urgency - We have to send emails to parents as part of monitoring and it is dependant on the level. For example 94 - 96% gets a different response to 90 - 94% and again below 90%. At the moment the only way is manual and we have even tried a work round of downloading attendance and getting a list of names but even…

  3. Logon Improvement

    Integris logon page to check whether the user has previously signed in and not prompt the user to close their browser, or return to their already opened tab.

    Currently, if a user closes their RM Integris tab, they are unable to log back in unless they: completely close their browser (and everything else they have open), open an Incognito/private browsing tab, use another web browser, or delete their JSESSIONID cookie - this can be very inconvenient and frustrating.

    Thank you for taking the time to submit a User Voice suggestion. We have taken a note of this.

    If the user closes down Integris by logging out rather than closing the window, then they can close the tabs on the browser and log back into Integris without having to close the whole browser. I appreciate however that this user experience could be improved further.

  4. Communicate Module - include staff in distribution list for emails (aswell as Parents)

    Staff need to be able to be copied into emails going to their students families as they otherwise don't know what has been sent out or when it was - this seems to be a glaring omission and picked up but every school using the module. This isn't the ability to send staff emails its the ability to include them as well as parents in the distribution list.

  5. Child in Need (new field required) - Student Details

    Child in Need is a Y/N field that is being requested by multiple schools. Not yet included in the Census but schools are required to record this flag and the most appropriate tab on the Student record would appear to be "Additional". I believe its an area all schools are required to record so it needs to be set up with some urgency.

  6. Status & Printing Screen - confirmation of action please

    After selecting 'save to document storage' via ‘Status & Printing’, there is no notification/confirmation that the selected reports have been sent to the parent portal. It is easy to lose track of which groups of reports have been sent – confirmation of sending is crucial, to avoid missing any or duplicates being uploaded. It is often some time before they show up in ‘Administration’/’Student Document Storage’. Confirmation on this screen would be very useful please.

  7. Changes to Emergency Contact Details

    Currently when changing an emergency contact telephone number or address is only changes for 'sibling links'. We are a close community school and parents are each others contacts. It would be extremely helpful if contacts were treated as individuals and when details are changed it filers through to other pupils, this then ensures emergency contact details for all pupils are correct.

  8. Using a list to select students

    I have recently posted on the Attendance reports and this is a relevant side post.

    We need to be able to select pupils by copying a and pasting a list. We tried a workaround to produce emails in communication centre and generated a list to highlight pupils who's attendance fell between two levels (For example 90-94%). However when I expand the surname selector in Student Find and copy and paste the full names of pupils in (with a comma in between) the search is then only on the surname ans the first name is disregarded.

  9. Automatic 'Omit' tick not working as intended, when a student rejoins a previous class

    Reporting to Parents - Issue with automatically omitting students:

    Currently if a student moves class, and then moves back to the previous class, the automatic 'Omit' tick is not removed.

  10. Pupil search

    Today the pupil search facility has changed. If there is only one pupil with the surname it does not distinguish between roles and brings up pupils who have left and are on former role. With over 300 children in the school we do not always know who is still current or who is former. Please can this search be limited to the selected role only

    The search functionality is in it’s first iteration. We intend to refine and add more searchable features. We have tested against your comment – we note when 1 pupil with search name on roll, it goes to their record. The roll status is in a grey field above photo space but is not particularly clear. We have made a note of this.

    Make Year Group sort numerically, so it is 7,8,9,10,11,12,13 rather than a string which gives 10,11,12,13,7,8,9.

  13. Adding students to class to be date effective

    I would like to be able to input the movement of students to a different class prior to the change ie in December for a January change of class and for the change not to show until the date it is effective from. Currently if you make a future change it then shows the student(s) in the new class prior to the effective of the change.

  14. Add expiry date to training!

    When entering the type of training members of staff have done, it would be good to not only have the date of it completed but when it expires. The other solution would be to be able to set up alerts for that but I noticed this was declined a while ago. This could be an alternative solution..?

  17. Ability for users to add other UDIs on register indicator

    We would like to add more UDIs on the register indicator list. It will be useful if users can do so themselves without have to ask RM Integris.

  18. Report Absences

    Could you add a facility to the Parent Portal for parents to report the reason for their child's absence.We currently use Parentmail and parents can report absences using their app, this is much easier than trying to retrievet messages from the telephone. This facility would enable us to tranfer to Parent Portal.

    I often receive queries from parents who are unable to log in/find their child's reports etc. Would it be possible for us to have access to a parent's view of the parent portal?

  20. Ability to add text within the 'other headings' section

    We currently use the 'other headings' section as a Report Key, as an explanation for parents/carers of the codes entered on the student's progress report. For each data collection (approx 20 per year), we have to request this wording to be added by the Integris Support team. They are unable to see any spacing issues when the text is inserted, so we often have to screenshot the view that we see and attach this to the support request. It would be much easier if we had the ability to add/edit text in this section.
